Description: Join us for this two-part virtual training sessions that will provide background information on the implementation of new decentralized wastewater systems especially as it relates to converting onsite or individual wastewater systems. Decentralized (also cluster or satellite) wastewater systems can offer a sustainable wastewater solution for converting failing or inadequate onsite/individual wastewater systems.
Attendance of both training sessions is not required, but is strongly encouraged. Part one of these virtual sessions is described below:
Partners:
- An introduction to decentralized wastewater systems, key terminology, and their role in converting existing onsite systems.
- Planning, design, construction, and operations & maintenance (O&M) considerations for collection, treatment, and disposal systems.
- Wastewater operators and maintenance staff, and managers for wastewater systems.
- Municipal and county officials overseeing local onsite and decentralized wastewater systems.
- Wastewater management professionals, including engineers, planners, environmental consultants, and industry technologists.
- Decision-makers for wastewater utilities and those seeking resources on decentralized wastewater systems and onsite systems management.
