Date and Time: 9-19-2024 @ 02:00 PM (EDT) to 9-19-2024 @ 03:30 PM (EDT)
Location: Online Event

Description: Join us for this two-part virtual training sessions that will provide background information on the implementation of new decentralized wastewater systems especially as it relates to converting onsite or individual wastewater systems. Decentralized (also cluster or satellite) wastewater systems can offer a sustainable wastewater solution for converting failing or inadequate onsite/individual wastewater systems.

Attendance of both training sessions is not required, but is strongly encouraged. Part two of these virtual sessions is described below:

  • Brief introduction/review of previous webinar session.
  • Decentralized wastewater system program development, planning, permitting, and organizational considerations.

By the conclusion of this webinar series, attendees will:

1. Understand the components of a decentralized wastewater system and why it makes sense for some onsite/individual wastewater system conversions.

2. Explore the steps involved with planning, design, and construction of a new decentralized system.

3. Learn about operations and maintenance considerations for decentralized systems.

4. Gain insights into the program development processes and timelines for a new decentralized wastewater system.

5. Discover potential funding sources and decentralized system ownership models.
