Description: Does your O&M manual need to be updated? Would you like an opportunity to discuss your O&M manual with your peers? If the answer to these questions is “Yes,” then this Small Systems O&M Manual Peer-to-Peer Session is designed for you!

Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals are a vital part of all Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) operations. They are essential in providing reference material for WWTP operations, records for future operators, and redundancy to ensure successful continuation of operations in the event of unusual employee turnover. Join us for an interactive opportunity to engage with your peers who are also improving O&M manuals. Ask questions, tout your successes, find out what has and hasn’t worked for other utilities. This is a chance to learn from each other in an interactive, peer-exchange format. This session offers system operators, managers, and decision-makers the chance to:

  • Openly discuss O&M Manuals including:
    • Why they are important
    • How to best update the manual
    • Who should have access
    • How to store the manual
    • and more
  • Interact with a group of their peers tackling similar challenges
  • Meet wastewater professionals from outside their organization

Cost: Free

Who Should Attend:

  • Managers, owners, and operators of wastewater systems with an average daily flow of less than 1 million gallons
  • Decision-makers for wastewater utilities, including mayors, finance officers, utility managers, public works directors, city councilors, board members, tribal council members, and clerks

Please Note: This Peer2Peer session has NOT been submitted for approval of continuing education credit. We can provide a certificate of attendance to eligible attendees, but cannot guarantee it will meet your PDH or CEU requirements.
