Description: This training covers the principles of basic water math that water operators need to solve math problems associated with distribution systems, treatment processes, and other water system operations at their utilities. The training focuses on the daily use of math in each participant’s water system/s to help better manage day-to-day operations and make informed choices that could affect system performance.

Training Credits: Approved for 6.0 Training Credits for New Mexico Water & Wastewater Utility Operators. Approval from the Navajo Nation is still pending.

Please Note: Lunch will not be provided and is the responsibility of attendees. 

Who Should Attend: 

  • Managers, owners, and operators of water systems serving less than 10,000 people, or wastewater systems with an average daily flow of less than 1 million gallons
  • Decision-makers for water and wastewater utilities, including mayors, finance officers, utility managers, public works directors, city councilors, board members, tribal council members, and clerks
  • Consultants and technical assistance providers serving water and wastewater systems
