So you got the grant or loan you needed for your water project. What now?

If you’re managing a small water utility, receiving a grant or loan might be the start of the biggest project you’ve ever worked on.  The decisions you make up front during the planning and design phase can have a major impact on the overall project. The time to have the most positive impact for the least expenditure is at the beginning. In this webinar, you will:

  • Learn how project components, such as the alternative selected, material type, and construction method determines the operations and maintenance activities you will need to do for the next 20 to 50 years
  • Learn how to track project activities, set and measure project milestones, and interpret outputs and outcomes so that your system can demonstrate progress to the funding agency.

Even if you did not receive a grant yet, these activities can ensure that you are spending money in the best way possible for your water system and your community, and may help you become a more competitive applicant in the future.  Join us as we talk about what to do after you receive an award for a loan or grant for a project.
