Are upcoming staff retirements going to leave you with a knowledge gap?
– Do you have high employee turnover?
– How would you describe your workplace culture?
– When hiring, where do you look?

This training will focus on how to recruit, select, train, and retain water operators and water system employees. Attendees will learn how to develop a succession plan, attract new talent and create and maintain a workplace culture that keeps employees engaged and excited to be working for a critical industry in their community.

Trainer: Khris Dodson, Associate Director – Syracuse University Environmental Finance Center

Who Should Attend:
This workshop is designed for water systems serving 10,000 or fewer people (though systems of any size may attend), especially targeting local government systems facing financial challenges. Owners of privately owned systems, consultants and technical assistance providers serving water systems are also invited to attend.
