As systems in Connecticut begin to implement asset management plans, they will need revenue sufficient to cover the cost of running the water system today and into the future. This webinar will discuss how rates can be structured to allow systems to pay for the cost of operations and for capital improvements. The webinar will also share specific examples of how small, community water systems serving under 1,000 people around the country have structured their rates.

Presenters: Glenn Barnes, Associate Director, Environmental Finance Center at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill

This webinar was developed in collaboration with CT DPH Drinking Water Section in light of new state laws requiring Asset and Fiscal Management Planning for Small Community Water Systems.
