The Environmental Finance Center at UNC Chapel Hill has created a new, free Excel-based tool that that helps you understand the financial health of your water (and wastewater) fund. The tool translates your system’s audited financial statements into key financial metrics that can help you determine whether the health of the water fund is improving and how it is performing against benchmarks that your organization sets. In this webinar, we will demonstrate how to use the “Financial Health Checkup for Water Utilities” tool and explain the financial indicators and benchmarks using examples from small water systems.
