VT Online Training | Navigating Federal Cross-Cutters Before, During, and After State Revolving Fund Loan Awards
Description: This training is designed to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of federal cross-cutter requirements applicable to projects funded through the Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) programs. The session will provide step-by-step guidance on how to identify, plan for, and comply with these requirements before, during, and after receiving an SRF loan award. Participants will also explore strategies for effective compliance, documentation, and audit readiness.
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Identify key federal cross-cutting authorities that apply to SRF-funded projects
- Understand the timing and documentation requirements for each cross-cutter
- Implement compliance strategies throughout the project lifecycle
- Avoid common pitfalls and delays related to non-compliance
- Prepare for audits and state/federal oversight
