Description: This class covers concepts and mathematics needed to conduct activated sludge wastewater treatment process control. By the end of this training, attendees will be able to do the following:

• Define and calculate BOD in influent wastewater flows
• Calculate FM ratios and MCRTs for activated sludge plants
• Identify basic microbes associated with activated sludge conditions
• Explain process control laboratory procedures for wastewater treatment
• Analyze treatment problems in wastewater treatment plants

Please Note: This is a two-part training over the course of two days. In order to qualify for a certificate, you must attend both days:

• Wednesday, December 3, 2025 | 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM EST
