Improving Your Utility: Finding and Managing Funding

Description: Please join the Environmental Finance Center and the Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) for Improving Your Utility: Finding and Managing Funding. This workshop will provide utilities an opportunity to learn more about determining their system needs and identifying if they have a project that may be eligible for funding. Additional topics will include funding types and eligibility, the project development process, funding application overview and funding management. The workshop will also include a funder panel with representatives from USDA Rural Development and Utah DWSRF.

Trainers: Matthew Kennedy, Rural Development Specialist; and Jeremy Peirsol, Rural Development Specialist, Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC)

CEUs: Pending approval.

Who Should Attend:

  • Managers, owners, and operators of water systems serving less than 10,000 people
  • Decision-makers for water utilities, including mayors, finance officers, utility managers, public works directors, city councilors, board members, tribal council members, and clerks
  • Consultants and technical assistance providers serving water systems
