Please Note: This is a two day workshop. Each day will run from 9:00am-4:30pm Are you concerned about how Senate Bill 2 might affect you? Are you wondering how to get started or where to get help?  If so, this workshop is for you. This two-day workshop will explore how to develop three key planning documents—capital improvement plans, water loss audits, and succession plans, as well as how these plans relate to asset management. In case you were unaware of Senate Bill 2, it will require all public water systems to have an asset management program in place by October 1, 2018, as well as other potential planning documents. We will explore:

• What asset management is and how it can help your utility
• How to develop a long-term capital plan and how to decide the best place to spend your limited replacement dollars
• What a water audit entails, how to conduct one, and how to develop a plan to reduce non-revenue water
• How to develop a succession plan to ensure you have the right people in place to run your system today and into the future
• How these various plans fit within an asset management framework

Please join us as we explore these plans, how to get started on implementing them, and free resources to assist you in your endeavor. Who Should Attend: This workshop was designed for all community and non-community water systems serving 10,000 or fewer people (though systems of any size may attend). Consultants and technical assistance providers serving water systems also invited to attend. Please note: While this workshop is open to everyone, if registration reaches capacity, we will ask larger water systems (serving over 10,000 people), consultants, and technical assistance providers to join a waiting list to make room for small water systems.
