NY Training | Basic Activated Sludge & Nutrient Removal

Description: Activated sludge plants are common throughout the United States for treating municipal wastewaters. As discharge permits change, the need to focus on properly operating and maintaining activated sludge systems does not. This course will help operators new to the wastewater industry gain valuable understanding and tools to help them properly operate plants and efficiently diagnose issues when they arise.
Attendees to this course will learn the following:
- Conversion processes occurring within activated sludge systems
- Separation processes occurring within activated sludge systems
- Resources for troubleshooting common conversion and separation problems at activated sludge plants
- A basic understanding of nutrient removal in activated sludge treatment plants.
Please Note: The training time includes breaks. Lunch will not be provided.
