Description: Join us for a workshop on basic activated sludge and nutrient removal. Activated sludge plants are common throughout the United States for treating municipal wastewater. As discharge permits change, the need to focus on properly operating and maintaining activated sludge systems does not. This course will help operators new to the wastewater industry gain valuable understanding and tools to help them properly operate plants and efficiently diagnose issues when they arise. 5 TCHs minimum received, actual class time could be longer. Tour of WRBP.

Trainers: Nicholas Willis, Program Manager, Environmental Finance Center at Wichita State University
