Description: This workshop will help water systems more effectively engage with their communities and strengthen overall public relations. Whether you want to promote water conservation, share information about your community's water quality, communicate the need for rate increases, or achieve other goals that require public support, this workshop will help you develop communications that build trust, capture attention, and support your objectives. We will cover several practical approaches you can implement right away to strengthen your public outreach. A core tenet of this training is understanding your audience and what matters most to them, then tailoring your communications to capture their attention and achieve your desired outcomes.
