KS Training | Leave Your Legacy: SCAP Tool and Asset Management Workshop

Description: The combination of the free and easy to use SCAP asset management tool and an asset management program are excellent ways to leave a lasting mark for your wastewater utility. This workshop focuses on learning the basics of asset management while also starting a basic asset inventory of your system using the SCAP asset management tool. The workshop will help jumpstart your legacy with your wastewater utility and improve its long-term management.
The workshop includes a 2-hour discussion on the basics of asset management followed up with a 3-hour session inputting information from your water system into the SCAP tool. Participants must bring basic information on 5-10 components of their wastewater utility to the workshop. Attendees will learn how to enter this information into the SCAP tool and start a basic asset inventory/asset assessment for their system. Participants will receive a free copy of the SCAP asset management tool and supporting documents.
