CEHs: This workshop is approved for 5 hours of water operator renewal credit. Cost: Complimentary. Now more than ever, water utilities must learn to be resilient in the face of an uncertain future. At this workshop, we will discuss potential threats in your region, including extreme weather and climate disruptions, and give you tools to identify risks, assess vulnerabilities, and plan for impacts. Participants will then put their new knowledge to the test in an emergency water supply & demand interactive exercise. During this exercise attendees will work together to asses a hazard situation, prioritize needs, and plan for and implement actions strategies in order to manage threats. Finally, we will spend the afternoon hearing from state contacts who can help turn your plans into action.
