This workshop will help water systems plan for an uncertain future. Attendees will gain an understanding of potential climate and extreme weather impacts in their region, and then learn the tools necessary to help them identify risks as well as manage and plan for impacts.

In this workshop, you will learn:
– How extreme weather events can pose a risk to your system;
– How to build and assess impact scenarios to identify vulnerability; and
– The basics of asset management and how to conduct an asset inventory.

The workshop will also feature a presentation on how facilities can save money and conserve water with EPA’s WaterSense program.

Who Should Attend:
This workshop is designed for water systems serving 10,000 or fewer people (though systems of any size may attend), especially targeting local government systems facing financial challenges.
