Webinar | Wellhead Protection Plans
Description: Protecting a drinking water well starts long before contamination shows up in a sample. Wellhead protection planning helps water systems identify and manage threats within the area that contributes water to their wells. This webinar covers how contaminants enter and move through aquifers, how to delineate wellhead protection areas, and how to reduce contamination risks around groundwater wells. We will also point to resources to help develop and implement a wellhead protection plan.
