Description: This training provides entry-level drinking water operators with the fundamental math skills needed for effective system operation and regulatory compliance. Participants will learn how to perform essential calculations used in daily water treatment and distribution tasks, with a focus on practical application and real-world examples.

Intended Audience: New operators and operators who would like a math refresher.

This training is generously hosted by Indiana LTAP. Lunch is not provided for in-person participants, but the Kurz Purdue Technology Center, located in the Purdue Research Park of West Lafayette, offers an Express Café and features an outdoor picnic area.

CEUs: This training is approved for 5.0 technical contact hours by the Indiana DEM (Approval: PWST26-9741). This training is also pending continuing education credits in Michigan.

  • Decision-makers for water utilities, including mayors, finance officers, utility managers, public works directors, city councilors, board members, tribal council members, and clerks
