IN Online Training | Wastewater Process Control Workshop

Description: This two-part virtual workshop will introduce key concepts and mathematics needed for wastewater treatment process control. Participants will review foundational calculations and apply them to real treatment scenarios, helping strengthen confidence in day-to-day operational decision-making.
Objectives: By the end of this training, attendees will be able to do the following:
- Define and calculate BOD in influent wastewater flows
- Calculate FM ratios and MCRTs for activated sludge plants
- Identify basic microbes associated with wastewater treatment scenarios
- Calculate hydraulic and organic loading for trickling filter and RBC plants
- Explain process control laboratory procedures for wastewater treatment
_Please Note: This is a two-part training over the course of two days. In order to qualify for CEUs or a certificate of attendance, you must attend both days:

CEUs: This training is approved for 4.5 technical hours of wastewater continuing education credit by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM). This training has also been approved for 0.4 Technical Wastewater CECs by Michigan EGLE.
