CO Training | Basic Water Math

Description: Fundamental knowledge of water math is essential to ensure proper operations of drinking water treatment plants and distribution systems. Understanding and being able to perform water calculations allows operators to optimize and make proper adjustments to processes and enables administrators and decision makers to properly manage and make the best decisions for the utility and community. During this training, participants will learn how fundamental math concepts are applied to water facilities and operations, including concepts that are often found on operator certification exams.
Training Objectives:
- Introduce common water math concepts
- Provide walkthroughs of water math problems in real-life scenarios
- Provide water math practice problems and provide guidance as needed
- Recommend further practice and study resources as needed
