Description: Join the EFC Network for this training on Asset Management (AM) designed for wastewater managers and operators. AM is a framework designed to help systems decide how, when, and where to spend their often-limited funds. The goal of this framework is to provide utilities with the tools to provide the desired level of service for their customers at the lowest cost.

- Teach utility personnel how to set goals for their AM plan
- Provide training on the AM approach to assessing wastewater assets
- Discuss how and what data is useful for AM planning
- Discuss the different strategies for how to approach the repair, replacement, rehabilitation or reconfiguration of assets
- Discuss AM approach to funding and resource allocation
- Managers, owners, and operators of wastewater systems with an average daily flow of less than 1 million gallons
- Decision-makers for wastewater utilities, including mayors, finance officers, utility managers, public works directors, city councilors, board members, tribal council members, and clerks
- Consultants and technical assistance providers serving wastewater systems
