AM is a framework designed to help systems decide how, when, and where to spend their often-limited funds. The goal of this framework is to provide utilities with the tools to provide the desired level of service for their customers at the lowest cost. Training Objectives:

Learn about the 5 major components of AM
Teach utility personnel how to set goals for their AM plan
Provide training on the AM approach to assessing wastewater assets
Discuss how and what data is useful for AM planning
Discuss the different strategies for how to approach the repair, replacement, rehabilitation or reconfiguration of assets
Discuss AM approach to funding and resource allocation
