Location:

There are several federal and state programs that provide financing for water infrastructure projects. However, the process for securing even loan funds is often highly competitive.

This workshop provides participants with descriptions of individual financing programs and how they may interact with each other. Speakers include persons involved in administering the programs in the state. Participants will receive basic information on best management practices such as asset management, rate setting, and financial benchmarking which can enhance your system’s funding application.

This workshop is designed for water systems serving 10,000 or fewer people, especially targeting local government systems facing financial challenges. Owners of privately owned systems, consultants and technical assistance providers serving small water systems are also invited to attend.

This workshop has been submitted for CEUs to the state.
