Effective communication is an important part of any utility employee’s job. Whether it is expressing the utility’s goals to the consumer or working with their fellow employees, communication skills are vital to the system. People generally look for someone who can communicate valuable guidance, provide leadership, and lead them in problem-solving. When you successfully fill that role, you act to reassure your community that their government and private organizations are working toward delivering safe drinking and waste water.Communication also plays an important role in making better decisions for your organization. This class will help the attendee in both areas for the betterment of your community.
