Planning and paying for expensive system upgrades or community features can be overwhelming, especially for small communities with limited resources…but it doesn’t have to be!

This workshop will teach important considerations for using capital improvement planning to replace utility infrastructure, meet regulatory requirements or add new community features.

You will learn:

  • How your system should plan for major upgrades
  • How to pay for capital improvement expenses
  • Which projects should be prioritized
  • Information needed to make capital improvement project decisions
  • How to present CIP information to boards
