GIS Field Data Collection Wednesday, May 19th, 2021 1pm - 2pm Eastern Description: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are essential for utility management applications ranging from permit compliance to asset management. A first step in developing a GIS system is to determine what information to gather and how that data will be stored. This webinar will provide an overview of strategies for mapping water utility infrastructure, including lessons learned from both office and field work to map water-related infrastructure in California State Parks.
