Description: The State of Tennessee wants to ensure that water systems applying for infrastructure project grant money have a plan to use it wisely. The EFCN is offering this no-cost 2-part training to help you prepare to select infrastructure projects that will most benefit your system while improving maintenance to delay the need for new infrastructure by reducing high levels of real water loss. This training will walk through the basics of Asset Management, identifying its five core components. It will focus on elements of the construction planning phase that allow for best project selection, including maintenance planning specifically focused on water loss reduction.

When it comes to spending money wisely, you can make the biggest impact during the planning and design phase of your project. Doing so requires the right team and asking the right questions. Therefore, we will walk through developing your planning team and having a framework for developing the right questions to ask your engineers.
