Water Loss Reduction

Understanding the nature of water loss is a difficult, but important, task for small water systems.  The system needs to understand if their greatest issue is “paper losses” meaning that they may not be collecting all the revenue they should or “real losses” meaning that water is leaking out of the system.  Understanding the true nature of the problem will allow water systems to design more appropriate management strategies.

Available Services: The EFCN can offer classroom trainings related to understanding and managing water loss.  In addition, the EFCN is able to provide one-on-one assistance to water systems related to addressing water loss.
