Date and Time: 7-11-2019 @ 08:30 AM (EDT) to @ 12:00 PM (EDT)
Location:

In this two-part workshop series, you will learn the ins and outs of implementing a sucessful water system construction project. This includes:
– How to apply for funding
– Setting appropriate milestones
– Engaging a team of professionals
– Tracking project activities and measuring results

If you’re managing a small water utility, starting a grant or loan-funded project may be the biggest project you’ve ever worked on.  You might not realize how consequential the decisions you make up front during planning and design will be on the overall project.  The time to have the most positive impact for the least expenditure is at the beginning. You will also have to manage your relationship with professionals throughout the project, including working with engineers, funders, and possibly assistance providers. This workshop is the first of a two-part series and focuses on activities that come at the beginning of the grant or loan process.
