Strong communication and decision making skills are critical for successful leaders, and leadership happens at every level of a system regardless of size. Public works directors, water utility managers, operators, and finance staff need to effectively communicate decisions to rate payers, boards or commissions, funding and regulatory agencies, and staff.

This workshop helped attendees:

  • Communicate more effectively
  • Reduce conflict among stakeholders
  • Effectively plan for the future

Individuals learned decision-making process that will provide justifiable conclusions and recommendations. They created a compelling message for diverse audiences to garner support, and change attitudes and behaviors.

This workshop was designed for water systems serving 10,000 or fewer customers, though systems of any size may attend.
