If you are looking to set appropriate rates for your water system, you probably have many questions about the process. For example:
- “Where is a good place to start?”
- “Are our current rates right?”
- “What are the different rate structure options?”
You may have specific questions regarding something you’ve tried and had difficulty with. This online forum provided individuals with a unique opportunity to ask any and all questions regarding rate setting and fiscal planning.
Shadi Eskaf and Glenn Barnes from the Environmental Finance Center at The University of North Carolina were on hand to answer your questions. Both have extensive experience helping small water systems with their rates.
