Leadership happens at every level of an organization regardless of the organization’s type or size. There are often strong stakeholder perspectives surrounding water issues and opportunities. Operators who work with water systems and those who support community services need to effectively interact with community residents, boards or commissions, funding and regulatory agencies as well as their internal team members. This training gave participants the skills and tools they needed to gather support for their program and build relationships with a wide variety of audiences.
This training was designed to help:
- Reduce conflict and plan for the future
- Provide a decision making process to justify conclusions and recommendations
- Improve ability to create a compelling story and messaging to match stakeholders and audience and change attitudes and behaviors
