Though many operational costs may be fixed costs, energy costs represent the largest controllable cost of providing water services. Energy can be as high as 40 percent of operating costs and is expected to increase 20 percent in the next 15 years. Now is the time to control energy costs.

You will learn how to:
–    conduct an energy audit and establish a baseline,
–    prioritize and implement energy efficiency projects,
–    calculate project payback and current performance, and
–    identify financing opportunities for energy projects.
